Welcome to K9interaction
We offer expert group dog training classes, 1-to-1 sessions, and fully licensed 5 star dog home boarding. Both our training services and home boarding carry a high level of business insurance, with our license and insurance certificates always available for you to view.
Based on the outskirts of Weston village in North Hertfordshire, our neighboring communities are Stevenage, Letchworth, Hitchin, and Baldock. Anyone training with will get priority availability for home boarding and a discount once they have attended for 3 months or more.
About K9interaction
K9interaction was established in 2008 and quickly became our full-time occupation, building on a passion for working with dogs that started in the early 1990s.
For 15 years, we also ran a small dog rescue dedicated to helping extra-special dogs, successfully rehoming hundreds of them. While we are sadly no longer able to take in new dogs for rehoming, we remain deeply committed to our rescue family and continue to provide lifetime backup support for any dog previously rehomed through our k9interventions rescue.
Inclusive Training for Everyone
Our training classes are suitable for people of all ages and abilities. We are happy to adjust any exercise to suit you, and there is never any shame in asking for something to be repeated. There is no such thing as a silly question—we are all here to learn, have fun, and support each other!
Of course, if you are active, fit, and want to run around with your dog, you are more than welcome to, but it is certainly not compulsory.
Our Philosophy & Safety
Our approach to training has changed over the years because we believe that as we get older, we need to adapt our techniques to match our changing needs.
Our only requirement is that you are able to hold and control your own dog around others. If this is not something you feel confident with yet, then our 1-to-1 sessions might be a more suitable and comfortable way to help you get started.
